Policy Cancellation
- Most policies come with a free-look period (usually 15–30 days from the date of policy issuance). During this time, you can cancel and receive a full refund of the premium paid, provided no claim has been made.
- After the free-look period, cancellation is subject to the insurance company’s short-period cancellation rules. Any refund (if applicable) will be calculated accordingly.
- No refund is available if a claim has already been made or approved.
- Processing time for approved refunds is typically 10–15 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
Non-Refundable Cases Certain add-ons, taxes, or administrative fees charged by the insurer may not be refunded.
